Romans 12:1-2
The heart and the mind work hand in hand with one another. We were created to be WHOLE; both heart and mind. Sin entered the world and we were broken. The process of sanctificaition helps; but is not limited to, restoring our wholeness. Coupling the heart and mind together once more… making them more, and more, like the one in whom our image was created from. God’s desire is to restore His image in us and through us He is glorified. Making both our heart and mind more holy. Setting the spiritual and intellect on the foundation of His Character and Truth… He cleanses us by and with His Grace, Mercy and Love… so that we might truly know Him as we did in the beginning of creation. So that we might walk hand in hand in the Garden once more.
